PUNK REMEMBERED - LIBERTY LONDON
August 2016
Bringing anarchy to one of London’s most iconic stores
To mark the 40th anniversary of the punk movement, Propability were asked by Liberty to support with props for their punk window scheme which had its shopfront spray-painted by London-based street artist Endless in homage to the iconic era.
Producing a series of nine abstract different shaped plinths in varying sizes and shapes with a smoky mirror fixed to the top of each which was also wrapped in a vinyl pattern supplied by Liberty. The plinths provide a jagged aesthetic to the window scheme and reflect the surrounding artwork – which combined a mix of traditional and contemporary graffiti techniques, bursting colour and era-defining imagery such as Union Jacks and mohawks hair styles.
