MULTIPLE DISPLAY - KURT GEIGER
February2017
Spring / Summer inspired vanity creation
Propability designed and visualised a series of windows for the Kurt Geiger flagship store in Covent Garden and three other hero stores in Portobello Road, Westfield White City and St. Christophers place. A series of display fixtures were designed and constructed to display shoes and bags comprising of giant vanity cases and smaller square cases with handles, drawers and adjustable shelves to give enough flexibility to display all manor of different sized merchandise.
Taking inspiration from the new Spring/ Summer range, Propability developed the artwork and had bespoke duchess satin fabric printed which was used to cover the plinths and cases. This was mixed and matched with a beautiful boudoir velvet in a complimentary share of nude. At high level giant strands of pearls were produced to give the display height. In addition, Propability also made a giant eagle's head which was copied directly from one featured as a clasp on a Kurt Geiger bag. Inspiration was taken from the beautiful embroidered Japanese style shoes to produce freestanding flowers which had leaves acting as shelves to display more shoes.
