SWAROVSKI WINDOWS HARRODS

October 2011

Glittering frosty scenes of crystal and ice.

Showcasing Swarovski crystals within snow-swept, icy landscapes and frozen palatial interiors. Propability installed all individual elements which included extensive, highly detailed and complex prop and set dressing – hot-gluing literally thousands of individual crystals.

A poly-sculpted  series of organic tree-nymph structures around stylised mannequins created 1950s screen goddess silhouettes, all finished with crackled plaster effects and bejewelled with crystals. Crystal and mirror-adorned giant MDF ice shards were animated by chasing LED lights. For the palatial interiors, convincing marble and stone scenic finishes were created for the columns, fret-cut mirrors and panelling.
