Sculpting national ambassadors - Olympic mascots Wenlock and Mandeville

For the London Olympics, Propability had the pleasure of sculpting national hero’s Wenlock and Mandeville the popular and iconic mascots.

On display before and during the Olympics the pair were hand carved in polystyrene, coated in plaster and sanded to a smooth finish before being scenically painted.

In addition Propability worked on two further Olympic windows including a sculpt of an Olympic branded London taxi and a 'running man' window which featured Olympic merchandise with an athletic running man sculpt racing through it.
