MORPHED FURNITURE FOR HABITAT LONDON

Customised and sculpted creations.

Working together with creative agency Dry UK, Propability customised Habitat furniture with sculpted elements. Inspired by surrealism, Habitat wanted to create furniture which appeared to be ‘coming to life’ and melting into the newly opened shop environment.

Various different animal features were sculpted, from horse’s legs to lion's claws and wings produced in MDF completely by hand. Using real pig's trotters from our local butchers, Propability moulded and cast exact replicas which were under the base of a floor standing lamp to look like it was just walking away. The final molten metal look was achieved by spraying everything in metallic paint and finishing it off with a high gloss lacquer.
